Magnolia Court in Augusta, GA is more than halfway through complete renovation. The community was built in 1973 and last received an update in 1991. CRG Residential began renovations in the summer of 2019 working on the exterior and interiors of each apartment building simultaneously.
The project is the first of its kind in Georgia, creating an affordable housing community with all the luxury of a brand-new complex. Magnolia will be a gated community with key fob access to both the complex and each individual apartment.
Each building is receiving new roofing, siding, windows, gutters, and doors as part of their exterior updates with a finishing touch of newly painted brick.
Interior renovations are a full gut of the existing apartment buildings, including all mechanicals and underground utilities. All 192 apartments are receiving granite countertops, new kitchen appliances, LED lighting, and vinyl flooring and some buildings are being added onto to provide additional bedrooms to create more family-friendly floorplans.
Residents are moving into finished buildings as they are delivered.
