High School Senior Scholarship
LINDA E. MALOY SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION
CRG Residential will award a one-time $5,000 scholarship to one deserving graduating high school senior, who has suffered the loss of a parent, parental figure, or immediate family member, or whose family is currently facing a health-related issue that has created emotional and/or financial hardship for the student and his/her family. This scholarship will be awarded based on character, attitude, and perseverance in the face of difficult times. The scholarship award will be sent directly to the university/college/vocational school to be applied to the student’s tuition.
About the Scholarship
CRG Residential began this scholarship program in 2014 in honor of Linda Elaine Maloy, the wife of CRG Construction Superintendent, James Maloy, who lost her 9-year battle with breast cancer in 2012. Linda had a passion for working with children and was an in-home daycare provider and mother of two. This scholarship was created in honor of her memory on behalf of CRG Residential and company staff members who similarly lost a parent at an early age.
Application Eligibility
Current high school seniors graduating in December 2021/May 2022
Students seeking post high school education (4-year degree, 2-year degree, or vocational training)
Students must be a citizen or permanent resident of the U.S.

Application deadline has been updated to FRIDAY, APRIL 29, 2022
Applications can be submitted with the forms below or emailed to Leah Wolff at lwolff@crgresidential.com
Applications MUST include all the following:
– Four short essay responses
– One letter of reference from a high school administrator, teacher, guidance counselor, employer, mentor, or other significant adult in the applicant’s life
– School administrator/guidance counselor signature
– Copy of acceptance letter from a college or vocational school
Finalists for the scholarship will be contacted by Monday, May 9, 2022 to schedule a phone interview. The scholarship will be awarded by Friday, May 20, 2022. Scholarship money will be applied to the Fall 2022 semester tuition.
