CRG Residential is renovating the exteriors of Colonial Bay in Rochester, IN. The crews began the roof replacement in April and finished in May. They are currently working on the re-siding of the buildings and carports and replacing all 47 decks. The team will then paint the doors blue to match the new siding, before replacing the gutters and trim on all the buildings.
A new challenge that CRG Residential has been facing head on is building spiral staircases that lead from the deck of the second floor to the ground, which can be seen from the waterfront. The Exteriors team is assembling them on site, first placing each step on the base, installing it against the deck, and then placing the guard railings for safety. Other buildings are receiving joint staircases that descend from the second floor of the buildings, as seen on the bottom right.
Work is expected to complete in October 2022.
