CRG Residential is nearing completion of the transformation of Silver Oaks Apartments. The project which will provide income-based housing desperately needed in DeKalb County, GA will leave no part of the property untouched.
CRG’s interiors teams, using a modified RAPID occupied program, began the renovation of the property’s 406 units in the summer of 2019. New cabinets, countertops, flooring, LED lighting packages, bath vanities and tub surrounds as well as HVAC upgrades have been completed. CRG’s exteriors teams installed new fiber cement siding to the property’s 40 buildings giving it a fresh, modern look. In addition, Silver Oaks decks were replaced, the existing two layers of shingles were removed, and new decking and dimensional shingles were installed. Along with amenity upgrades, new signage and landscaping, Sliver Oaks is the envy of its neighbors in this popular Stone Mountain/Clarkston corridor just outside of 285.
