The renovation of Briarwood of Lafayette is nearing the halfway mark. CRG’s self-perform exteriors crews are replacing this 100-unit community’s windows, sliders, roofs, gutters, shutters, and entry doors.
CRG is using a semi-RAPID method for this occupied renovation and is spending nearly five days to complete each apartment unit. While still working in three to six units at a time, semi-RAPID is allowing a more intense scope of items to be performed. Crews are removing and replacing the polybutylene waterlines with PEX. After the lines are replaced, the interior renovation continues with new flooring, lighting, full kitchen and bathroom updates, and a full paint.
Community amenities and accessibility upgrades will also be completed, which will bring this affordable community up to compliance for the next 15 years. CRG is on track to complete the entire scope of work at Briarwood in only 4 months.
