As part of CRG Residential’s mission to give back to the community, the Carmel office staff participated in a service day last week in Indianapolis. CRG partnered with Brookside CDC again, this time to help rehab an apartment building that Brookside acquired in late 2020.
This service day focused on the beginnings of the rehab process of the apartment building, starting with the demolition. All the flooring—carpet, vinyl planks, and tiles—were taken out first, followed by the kitchen cabinets, appliances, and bathroom vanities. Once the units were vacant, the office staff swept, washed walls, and painted the entire interior of each apartment.
CRG will continue working with Brookside to renovate this building, including installing new kitchen and bathroom appliances, replacing windows and siding, and finishing off with fresh exterior paint.
