CRG Residential is seeking a Director of Asset Management, reporting directly to the President. The Director is responsible for the oversight of a portfolio of multifamily and mixed-use assets.

Experience
Seven+ years of asset management, property management, and/or finance experience with a demonstrated history of successfully managing a portfolio of multifamily real estate assets.

Requirements
Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills, have excellent analytical ability, exceptional attention to detail, and be a results driven, motivated self-starter. Must possess (i) strong knowledge of property management operations, leasing, and property issues; (ii) understanding of financial statement analysis; (iii) ability to drive continuous improvement and establish best practices; (iv) ability to recognize and address business issues as they occur; (v) ability to hold others accountable to adhering to Company policy and procedures, (vi) capability to think critically and strategically. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products, with a particular emphasis on MS Excel. Working knowledge of industry standard property management software is a plus. Occasional travel required.

Responsibilities

  • Asset management of real estate investments, including oversight of third party property managers for stabilized properties to ensure optimal performance and represent CRG’s interests as fiduciary
  • Track competitive environments for all stabilized properties in CRG’s portfolio, including existing properties and future supply pipelines
  • Monitor submarket dynamics and key performance metrics; suggest strategic changes to maximize asset values; keep CRG’s executive team abreast of meaningful submarket trends
  • Regularly visit and inspect lease-up and stabilized properties in the portfolio and hold property management teams accountable to CRG’s quality control standards
  • Review monthly and quarterly asset level financial reports to monitor performance and ensure business plan objectives are being achieved
  • Support the real estate development team with establishment of leasing hurdles, start-up budgets, and lease-up marketing plans
  • Participate in the real estate development planning process to ensure appropriate amenities, unit layouts, and other design related elements are considered
  • Provide input to investor quarterly reporting for assets
  • Assist in underwriting and due diligence for real estate acquisitions
  • Assist real estate team with refinancings, asset dispositions, and quarterly asset valuations
  • Negotiate new lease agreements with commercial tenants in mixed-use structures and monitor compliance with existing leases
  • Oversee stabilized asset level capital improvement and repair projects including recommendation and oversight of relevant professionals and vendors to budget, oversee and complete projects

Other Requirements

Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and be able to pass criminal history background check prior to employment with CRG Residential. Must possess a valid driver’s license.
