Brookside Opens New Women’s House

Brookside Community Development Corporation (CDC) has completed their latest project and will be opening a new Isaiah House for Women in downtown Indianapolis. Over the past two years, this house has been transformed from an abandoned building to a beautiful home that has the capacity for nine women re-entering the community.

CRG’s involvement with Brookside CDC began when Chris Reid, President of CRG Residential, discovered them through his church and felt that their mission lined up with his and what he wanted for CRG. He felt that the partnership could make a substantial difference within the community. All the exterior and interior work as well as the kitchen appliances for this new house have been donated by CRG Residential.

You can see Chris speak about his involvement with Brookside CDC and why he has aligned his company with their organization on Brookside CDC’s virtual grand opening of the house. See the interview with Chris here and see the grand opening of the new house here. This house will benefit many women in the community for years to come and CRG looks forward to being a part of Brookside’s vision for the future.
